You will have a keen eye for detail, good organisational skills, proactive and able to think independently and enjoy working as part of a team.
The role is part of our Technical Administration Team within the Technical Department. You will be responsible for ensuring the factory checks completed by production staff are accurate and for preparing samples of our products to send out to customers.
There will be cross over with our Quality Assurance Team and you will work closely with them to ensure factory standards are being maintained and records are being completed satisfactorily.
Duties and Responsibilities
Whilst maintaining a safe and clean environment by complying with procedures, processes and regulations, the following forms part of the responsibilities of the role:
- Working with the Technical Manager, Senior Technical Administrator and Quality Assurance team to ensure that all documentation and records required by the technical department are accurate and up to date
- Maintaining the site QMS documents and templates as directed
- Coordination of the work requests sent to the Laboratory and QA team
- Preparation of samples/sample packs to be presented to or sent out to customers
- Accurately transferring daily records data to computerized records and trending of the data
- Preparation of information and documents for 3rd party audits/customer visits as directed
- Monitoring and collating information relating to suppliers and specifications
- Providing administrative support to the laboratory as directed
- Checking the daily production paperwork and filing these
- Tracking packaging/film information
Qualifications and Competencies
- GCSCE or equivalent required (ideally including English and Maths but not essential)
- Ideal (but not essential) experience of working in a manufacturing environment
- Good attention to detail
- Able to work as part of a team
- Good written and oral communication
This is a full-time role – 40 hours per week Monday to Friday.
